Patty started her career in corporate accounting and transitioned into the entrepreneurial world. Currently, she works with business owners to understand their numbers with financial tools and systems that increase productivity and remove hurdles to growth and profitability.

Financial reports always reveal the story behind the numbers. “In numbers, there is always a story. There is the story of the operation performance of your business translated into dollars.” She highly advices creative CEOs to trust their numbers to be able to grow with confidence.

During the shutdown, she started to do some videos to help people make sound decisions. For 6 weeks, she made 2-minute videos and uploaded it on LinkedIn so people can use it to base their decision on. “We have to educate business owners about making their next best choice during this pandemic.”

Aside from being an accounting virtuoso, Patty also loves to play tennis. “In tennis, it’s not about who’s across the net from you. It’s about how you play the ball coming at you.”

She is the co-author of The Small Business Owner’s Manual: Build Your Dream Business, and she also teaches accounting & finance to entrepreneurs at Penn State Harrisburg.
